On a mountain, way up high,
in the depths of the dark, a moonlit sky.
Up in the heavens, I saw a universe of lights
and the falling stars were taking flight.
Where it began, how it all took place,
the events of that evening, what exists out in space?
There I discovered, in the darkness of it all,
there I witnessed outer life, all within a fall.
A sudden wind consumed me quickly
as a light, plummeting down, lifting me briskly.
Higher and higher, spinning round and round,
caught in a current, now in search for the ground.
Wondering what it was, up in the sky?
What it was, that could make me fly?
Just then the inevitable descent had arrived,
now on the ground, feeling dazed, but alive.
Here on my knees, shocked by delusion,
trapped in thought, real or illusion?
Captured by the events just transpired,
maybe just a dream, my ultimate desire.
